The old stone walls keep out the heat of the summer sun and they keep the heat in during the winter. There is a sitting/dining room downstairs with the adjacent kitchen separated by a bar built to include the original wooden cow byre. The kitchen is equipped for 5 people with fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery. Behind the sitting room there is a large double room with en-suite bathroom, toilet and shower. There is a south-facing patio outside with chairs and table shaded by a plum tree. This is all on a level with the main door and the parking is right by the house so it would be suitable for somebody with disabilities. Upstairs there is a small twin room with its own shower room and toilet. There is a small single bedroom that is accessed through the twin room and shower room. You have a dedicated Wifi connection (i.e. not shared) for those wanting to work or to be entertained. At present this is ADSL with a fibre optic connection 'promised' for 2022 (we won't hold our breath on that - they are working on it....)
Outside Amenities: The garden, BBQ, pool are for your use. We look after the pool but it is for your use and not shared with other guests.
